Getting There
Isla Mujeres is a small, laid-back island off the coast of Cancún, Mexico. To get there, fly into Cancún Airport and take a short ferry.

Timing
Book a flight that arrives before 8:45pm and departs after 9:30am.
The ferry runs from 6am to 11pm. These flight times ensure that you won't miss the ferry or your flight. Ultramar ferry schedule
Covid
No restrictions.
As of June 2022, US citizens and permanent residents no longer need to be vaxxed or tested to travel between the US and Mexico.

CARM Transportation
If you booked with CARM, they will be waiting for you outside with your name on a sign. If you need help, ask anyone to direct you to CARM.
There's been some construction on the road between the airport and the ferry. CARM has already accounted for this in their pickup times. But depending on the traffic, the drive might take longer than the typical 30min.
On The Island
Taxi to the hotel
When you exit the ferry, the taxi stand with red cars is on the left. There's only 1 taxi company on the island and they charge the same rate, you can't go wrong. The ride from the ferry terminal to Izla should cost about $10 USD and takes about 15 mins.
Getting around
Golf carts
Renting a golf cart is our favorite way to get around the island. Most rental services will drop them off at Izla Hotel or you can pick up near the ferry terminal. Advanced reservations are recommended. Taxis are also abundant and inexpensive.

Hildago street is the most lively part of the Island with a ton of shopping, bars and food options. Great for a late night taco or churro.

Isla Mujeres has some amazing snorkeling including an underwater sculpture museum.
